A team of two athletes represented Bermuda at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Jessica Lewis, the island’s most decorated para-athlete, made her fourth appearance at the Paralympics; meanwhile, Yushae DeSilva-Andrade made her second appearance, having competed at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016.
Lewis placed fifth in the T53 100 metres and DeSilva-Andrade narrowly missed out on a medal in boccia, finishing fourth in the BC1 women’s division.
The Games were the second Paralympics to be held in France.
